This writer has the ability to pull the reader into her writing, holding back enough of the details to gain interest but not enough to completely understand the underlying story line... In fact, she has broken her books down into sections of, the first being less than 100 pages...I got the first one and frankly was surprised that it turned out to be a vampire story... Why? Because of the way the book was written, and the unique details and "names" which, for me, were new to the lexicon for vampire novels... By the end of the book, the author had won me over and I suggest that, if you are into vampires, this may be just the story that will be just as new and intriguing for you as it was for me...Briefly the life story for Sadie is that she lives with Wendy, a Wicca, who has become a close friend. She has just lost her job at a bookstore, which was sold surprisingly quick by the owner. Neither she nor Marco, a friend and supervisor at the store know what happened... Fortunately, Sadie was able to get another job quickly...especially since the "real" story is just beginning...
Sadie has begun to dream... of a man...
Now, once the paranormal stuff started, I was hooked... A perfectly average girl, worried over getting her car fixed, finding a new job...and having enough to eat, suddenly is caught in dreams that take her to various places around the world. She is only able to recognize the potential location because of the setting in which she finds herself...
I was enthralled with the idea, even though I've read similar dream-theme books, it was the author's writing that was able to sustain the suspense for me, to draw it out without becoming excessive in duplicating scenes to which she traveled...
But what happens when the dreams become so real that you spend your waking hours watching for him on the streets or where you work, or live?
And what happens when he starts holding, touching you in your dreams...
And then she saw him on the streets!
WHEW! I've got to say that this is a sexy little story, but it is so romantically written that some of you may even swoon--at least those who, like me, know what swoon means! LOL...Actually, I've never fainted in my life, but you get my meaning, don't you? The story is exciting, suspenseful, and just enough of the feel of the paranormal that, as a reader, you are ready for anything and everything that might happen...
But I really don't think you'd even guess as to what's coming next or what you learn about Sadie...

Dreamer, book 1 of the Forever series, starts with Sadie having a hard time in life and feeling a little lost. She becomes even more confused and lost when the truth about who and, more importantly, what she is comes to light. This is a novella length novel and ends on a “sort of” cliffhanger.
This book started off slow for me, and I can’t quite put my finger on why. Something I cannot stand is a book having a weak, naïve, main character that needs to depend on other people for her safety. I am also not a big fan of the insta-love theme that seems to be popping up more and more lately.
With that being said, the plot was very interesting. We do hear common words in the book like vampire, fairies, elves, but there is so much more than that. Towards the end, I was really getting sucked into who Sadie really is and the choices she will eventually have to make. Despite my dislike of insta-love, I did find myself drawn to Sebastian. I could definitely see why Sadie was attracted to him. Then again, it does seem too good to be true.
I am looking forward to the next book and following Sadie through her royal journey. This was a very promising beginning to what could be a fantastic series.
I enjoyed reading the first book in this series and I look forward to the next. I would recommend this series to young adults with an interest in the paranormal romance that differs from mainstream Themes. I would like to see more descriptive information on the characters and their origin. I think it would bridge the gap from normal to paranormal and prepare the reader for upcoming stories in the series. There are heavy Identities of characters which are highly descriptive but the paranormal identities are only lightly revealed. I am hopeful the next book will shed more light on these.
I noticed several minor editorial mishaps, most of which were by omission of a word. There was also a change in a seemingly minor detail which could be non-important but the sentence which introduced the concept stated a profound preference. Overall, these were not distractions from the story and do not effect the plot.
This is an easy read that opens the readers eyes to parallel worlds of human and paranormals with notions of wonder, love, and danger.
This book is super Amazing!. It is funny,suspenseful, Charming,Hot and mysterious!. The Characters characters are Awesome!. Sebastian is a super sexy Vampire. Sadie is a funny ,spunky, curvy young woman, Lars is a evil dragon. Sadie dreams of a mysterious sexy Man in a far away place. Not long after the dreams start he shows up in real life. Sadie is adopted she never knew her real parents after she meets Sebastian she finds out why. Sebastian informs her she is his chosen one, but there is a problem Lars wants her to and he had even killed her Mother to get her. Now Sadie must decide if she wants to be Sebastian's mate? Does she want to become a Vampire?. Sadie also finds out she is to come into some magical powers. Sebastian tells Sadie they will take their relationship slow. Only one problem can he keep her safe from Lars?. Will Sadie agree to be his mate?. Sadie knows she is falling hard for Sebastian. This book is such a joy to read. I loved it so much I had to purchase the rest of this series!. S.A Smith is a Fabulous Writer! This is A must read series it is so amazing!.
